Take part to the 4th edition of BO it! Here’s everything you need to participate:
You have until 11:59 PM on August 15, 2025 to send us your interpretation of the theme of the fourth edition, inspired by the square shape of the Finestrella in Via Piella in Bologna!
Download the shape from Annex_A and let your imagination run wild with an illustration, a graphic interpretation or a decorative pattern, all within the 30×30 cm square shape, any technique allowed!
The only way to participate in the contest is to register using the form on this page!!! But how? It’s easy if you follow this steps:
- Fill out the below form with the requested data, attach your artwork and upload in the form a single PDF file containing:
- The guidelinesfilled in and signed in all its parts and sections
- all the others required attachments
- Don’t forget to pay the participation fee (€15 / €10 if you prove you are a student). You can pay directly in the form via PayPal using a credit card, prepaid card, or your PayPal account. Or you can make a bank transfer to

Important! The registration and participation to the contest will be confirmed only after payment.
In case of a bank transfer, it will be valid only if you attach the payment receipt within the single PDF to be uploaded through the form below.
To benefit from the reduced student fee, you must attach a document proving your student status within the single PDF (e.g. student ID card, enrollment certificate or other documentation).
The call is international and open to everyone, as long as you were born before August 15, 2007.
You can participate individually or as a collective.
A useful final checklist before registering:
- Download the guideliness and the shape (ANNEX-A)
- Use the 30×30 cm square shape to create your artwork.
- The technique is free, but the final file to be submitted must be 72 dpi, max size 1 MB.
- Fill out the form with your data: they will be used exclusively to contact you.
- Each applicant or group can upload up to three proposals, by making three separate uploads through the form.
- Don’t forget to upload the guidelines correctly signed in all its parts and sections, along with all required attachments, in a single PDF file in the “Upload Single PDF” field within this form!
