I am a Freelance illustrator from Yorkshire, England. I specialize in digital and mixed media Illustration. […] In my spare time I enjoy growing vegetables, taking care of my houseplants and spending time with my family and pets. I decided to change career from hospitality to illustration a few years ago, it was a huge step for me to take so I decided to study after making the career switch. I am now working towards my degree in illustration and became a BA (Hons) illustration student at Falmouth University in England last year.

The small characters wearing green clothing in my illustration represent some of the things that we need to thrive. […] These small characters are being squished into a smaller and smaller space while the large characters take over. The large characters in dark clothing that take up most of the space represent our ecological problems […]. They show us how BIG our problems have become and how little time we have left to fix them. Their text is dark and hard to read because we tend to hide, ignore or mask our problems instead of facing them […]. As the negative characters grow bigger and bigger it shows us that there’s just no more room left for the ‘good stuff’ in life unless we act now to fix it.
