BOit! Never stops! The tour of \ud835\ude4e\ud835\ude58\ud835\ude64\ud835\ude63\ud835\ude5b\ud835\ude5e\ud835\ude63\ud835\ude56\ud835\ude63\ud835\ude59\ud835\ude64 \ud835\ude3d\ud835\ude64\ud835\ude61\ud835\ude64\ud835\ude5c\ud835\ude63\ud835\ude56 continues! From December 2nd to the 7th of January the exhibition moves from Palermo to Milazzo at the MuMa \u2013 Museum of the Sea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Museum was founded in 2019 and is located inside the Castle of Milazzo, in the Bastion of Santa Maria. The idea of creating this museum stems from a poignant event that occurred in the summer of 2017: a young whale died entangled in an illegal fishing net off the Aeolian Islands. During the recovery operation, large quantities of plastic were found in the animal’s stomach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The skeleton of that same whale is now the central focus of the Museum, and its exhibition aims to spread awarness among the visitors. MuMa is dedicated to environmental protection and education, promoting consciousness, especially directed at the younger generation, for the protection and safeguarding of the sealife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We want to thank the Museum of the Sea of Milazzo and the Municipality of Milazzo for deciding to host our exhibition. Bringing the 30 artworks of the third edition outside Bologna, where the competition was born, to spaces where the theme of the environment and the future of the planet takes center stage, is crucial for BOit!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
